Preventative Maintenance

The NOxBOX Ltd range of products must be subjected to regular service inspection and maintenance routines as defined by NOxBOX Ltd. A faulty or defective system should not be used. System components that are damaged, broken, missing, visibly worn, deformed, or contaminated should be replaced or repaired immediately.

Products shall be properly operated in accordance with the Technical Guide by trained medical personnel. Regular periodic maintenance and service on devices must be performed for proper operation.

Annual Preventative Maintenance Benefits:
  • Safety: Regularly maintained medical devices are safer for patients and the medical staff. When equipment is routinely inspected and serviced, potential problems can be identified before they cause the device to malfunction or stop working.
  • Efficient Running: Routine maintenance can also help your hospital or surgical facility operate more efficiently. When you take a proactive approach to servicing your equipment, you can plan for the time frame when a device will be out of service.
  • Savings: Preventive maintenance saves you money. Emergency repairs or total replacement of a device are both more expensive than routine upkeep. By making sure that all of your equipment is operating at peak efficiency at all times, each device will last longer. This gives you a greater return on your investment over time and helps keep expenses down.
  • Regulatory Compliance: The maintenance of medical equipment must meet local regulations. Facilities must comply with national and international regulations, including maintaining a complete inventory of a facility’s equipment, obtaining and following individual manufacturers’ maintenance recommendations, and identifying all critical or high-risk medical equipment in their inventory.
